Description
Pixfra Ranger R425 Thermal Imaging Monocular – 384×288 Sensor, 25mm Lens
Reliable Thermal Performance with Long-Range Detection
The Pixfra Ranger R425 is a compact, high-performance thermal monocular designed for reliable use in a wide range of outdoor and professional environments. With a 384×288, 12µm thermal sensor and a fast 25mm f1.0 lens, this device delivers clear thermal imagery and a detection range of up to 1300 meters. Whether for wildlife monitoring, tactical operations, or security surveillance, the Ranger R425 offers dependable performance in both daylight and total darkness
Optimised Thermal Imaging Technology
Advanced 384×288 Thermal Sensor
The Ranger R425 features a high-sensitivity <30mK NETD thermal sensor, capable of detecting subtle heat differences to produce clear, high-contrast images. This allows for confident detection and tracking of targets in a variety of conditions, from night-time observation to foggy or wooded terrain
25mm f1.0 Lens and Enhanced Display
Paired with a 25mm f1.0 objective lens, the sensor maximises thermal signal strength, ensuring accurate long-range imaging. The device projects thermal data onto a crisp 1440×1080 high-resolution display, offering smooth and detailed visuals with a 2.34× native magnification and a wide 11.0° x 8.2° field of view
Designed for Comfortable, Precise Observation
Adjustable Dioptre
For optimal viewing comfort, the Ranger R425 includes an adjustable dioptre, allowing users to fine-tune the focus to match their individual vision. This results in sharper images and reduces eye fatigue during extended use
Built-In Stadiametric Rangefinder
The integrated rangefinder helps estimate distances between the observer and a target object. By marking the top and bottom of the target, the Ranger R425 calculates the distance automatically, providing quick and accurate situational awareness in the field
Extended Use and Environmental Adaptability
Up to 7.5 Hours Battery Life
Powered by a built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery, the Ranger R425 can operate continuously for up to 7.5 hours, depending on environmental conditions. It also supports external power sources via USB for extended operation time when needed
Multiple Thermal Colour Palettes
Users can switch between six colour palettes—Black Hot, White Hot, Iron Red, Sepia, Green Hot, and Alarm—to adapt to changing conditions and terrain. Each mode is designed to improve visibility and help identify heat sources more easily in varying environments
Smart Connectivity and Recording Features
Video and Photo Recording Capability
The Ranger R425 enables users to capture video footage and still images directly to a MicroSD card (up to 256GB supported). This is ideal for training, analysis, or record-keeping during field operations
Built-In Wi-Fi and App Integration
A built-in Wi-Fi module allows real-time connection to the Pixfra App, letting users stream and view footage live on a smartphone or tablet. Multiple smart devices can connect at the same time, enabling group observation and improved collaboration
